This morning, Yang Xiaofang, Deputy Director of the District People’s Congress and Chairperson of the District Federation of Trade Unions, along with a group of assisted students, visited the company to attend the 2019 “Golden Autumn Assistance for Education” donation ceremony held by Tonghui Company. The ceremony included several segments: a tour of the factory premises, a symposium and exchange session, presentation of a banner, remarks by company leaders, and a group photo. During the symposium, the assisted students introduced themselves and expressed their heartfelt gratitude toward the company. Among them, two college students who have been receiving long-term, targeted assistance from the company spontaneously crafted a banner titled “Dedicated Support for Education, Great Love at Tonghui” and presented it to the company. A total of eight students received assistance this time, each receiving an amount of 8,000 yuan. It is understood that all these students are outstanding both academically and morally, yet come from relatively impoverished families.

They paid visits to a total of 46 registered impoverished households in Shuangba Village, Huangping Village, Yueshan Village, Gaobei Village, Fangpo Village, Changling Community, Daoshi Community, and Dongnan Village, offering them heartfelt condolences and holiday greetings from the company and its chairman. The delegation also presented these families with gifts such as milk, cooking oil, festive gift packages, and cash assistance.
