Once a year, whether it’s enjoying flower viewing and spring outings or embarking on leisure travel and sightseeing, this has been a benefit that Tonghui Company has offered its employees for many years. It allows employees, in their spare time, to put aside work and daily trivialities, immerse themselves in nature’s beauty, embrace the outdoors, relax their minds, and savor the good things in life. This embodies Tonghui Company’s long-standing advocacy of the work ethic and lifestyle philosophy: “Work diligently, live passionately.”
In March, with the gentle spring breeze and the revival of all things, the company this year arranged two-day spring excursions for employees in two separate groups, taking them on a trip to Wulong—a place renowned as a World Natural Heritage site.
The Three Bridges of Tiankeng were formed millions of years ago when underground caves collapsed, creating three natural bridges. Together with the two sinkholes in between, this “Three Bridges Flanked by Two Sinkholes” karst landscape is unique worldwide. It served as a filming location for Zhang Yimou’s movies “Curse of the Golden Flower” and “Transformers 4.” As we walked along, we took photos and marveled at the extraordinary karst scenery—the sheer artistry of nature left us endlessly amazed.

Wandering through the Longshui Gorge’s fissure, we look up to glimpse a sliver of sunlight filtering through the narrow sky above. All around us, cascading waterfalls and babbling brooks create an atmosphere that is both refreshing and exhilarating. Although everyone is tired, their spirits are high.

At night, under a sky full of twinkling stars, in the tranquil Taoyuan Grand Canyon, everyone enjoyed the live-stage concert "Impression·Wulong," personally experiencing the breathtaking scenery of this natural heritage site as well as the unique customs and cultural charm of the Bashu region. The performance centered around the "Chuanjiang Huaizi"—a traditional folk chant on the verge of disappearing—and wove together elements of local culture, including the origins of hotpot, the "Shancheng Bangbang" (porters’ work songs), pole-pulling, and weeping weddings.

It’s said that most of the time during a month on Xian Nü Mountain, the weather is shrouded in clouds and mist—and this time, we happened to encounter a day of heavy fog, which was somewhat disappointing. Still, it didn’t dampen our spirits for the outing at all. Amidst the thick fog, the scenery looked just like a fairyland. Everyone wandered through the woods and across the meadows—some paused to savor the moist, fresh air, while others took beautiful photos to cherish the moment.
