A Refreshing Summer Journey with Tonghui Tianqi

On this sweltering summer day, Tonghui Gas has launched a refreshing getaway to Hailuogou. This annual tourism excursion has been a cherished benefit offered by Tonghui Company to its employees for many years, allowing them to unwind and fully immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty of nature after work. This year, amid the intense heat of August, Tonghui has carefully planned a three-day “Hailuogou Refreshing Getaway” tour for its staff. The group tour is divided into two separate trips, with each department making thoughtful arrangements to ensure that employees can completely relax and travel with ease. Along the way, participants visited the Luding Bridge in Luding County—a bridge built during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty and an important passage connecting inland Sichuan with the Tibetan Plateau. In 1935, during the Long March, the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army famously “flying captured the Luding Bridge,” making this site a significant historical memorial for the Communist Party of China. Everyone stepped onto the awe-inspiring iron suspension bridge, with the mighty Dadu River rushing below—just imagining the perilous yet heroic feat of the Red Army’s daring crossing of the Dadu River and their swift capture of the Luding Bridge fills one with admiration. Entering the Hailuogou Forest Park scenic area, participants got up close to glaciers and experienced the magical allure of the glacial canyon. They trekked through pristine forests, breathing in the fresh air and savoring the joy of reconnecting with nature. Along the way, everyone happily took photos, capturing precious memories of this unforgettable journey. At night, they strolled through the old streets and alleyways of Moxi Ancient Town, enjoying the tranquility and charm of this remote little town and marveling at the beauty of the Catholic Church and local Tibetan architecture. In Hongshi Park, they played freely on the red stone beaches, watched mountain springs cascading down the cliffs, and intimately interacted with the vibrant red stones scattered throughout the valley, stepping into a wondrous world teeming with life. Each journey offers a unique experience. Walking along the quaint streets of Moxi Ancient Town, participants admired the French-style church architecture and traditional Tibetan houses.
