Tonghui Gas Holds Grand Singing Competition: “Celebrate May Day—Unite in Heart to Create Brilliance”

On April 29, 2022, Tonghui Headquarters held a singing competition titled “Celebrate May Day—Unite as One to Create Brilliance.” For this event, the Tonghui companies located in the Chongqing region formed six participating teams: Tonghui North Area Production Base, Tonghui East Area Production Base, Chongqing Sales Center, Kaiyite Gas, Tonghua Logistics, and the Fuling Company team. The event received high recognition and support from company leaders and drew enthusiastic participation from employees across all companies.
The compulsory piece for this competition is the corporate image song “Together, We Create Brilliance.” This song features an energetic and powerful musical style. Each team’s members express their love for the company and their team with utmost enthusiasm, passionate performances, and heartfelt sincerity, showcasing the united, striving, and positive spirit of Tonghui employees.
In addition to performing the mandatory factory anthem, each team also performed a self-selected song. The singing styles varied—ranging from solo performances to duets and choral renditions—and the songs encompassed diverse genres, including mountain ballads, revolutionary songs, and lyrical ballads, offering everyone a feast for the ears.
After scoring, the teams that won third prize in this singing competition are: the Kaiyi Gas Team, the Tonghui East Zone Production Base Team, and the Tonghua Logistics Team. The teams that won second prize are: the Fuling Team and the Sales Center Team. The team that won first prize is the Tonghui North Zone Production Base Team. The duo of Pu Xingyu and Huang Zhihan from the Tonghui North Zone Production Base received the “Best Talent Performance Award.” Mr. Huang Jiadou, Chairman of the company, and Mr. Shi Hongbing, Director of the Strategic Development Committee, personally presented awards to the winning teams, offering them their congratulations and encouragement.
At the end of the competition, Chairman Huang Jiadou delivered a speech, emphasizing that holding such events is highly meaningful and reflects the company’s efforts to strengthen team cohesion. He expressed his hope that similar activities would be organized more frequently in the future. Amidst a joyful atmosphere, Mr. Huang performed the Minnan song “Only Those Who Strive Will Succeed,” inspiring employees to work hard and grow together with the company. At the conclusion of the singing contest, everyone eagerly took to the stage, freely singing and showcasing their talents. In the end, the “Celebrating May Day—Uniting as One to Create Brilliance” singing contest came to a successful close in an atmosphere filled with cheerful songs, laughter, and warm camaraderie.
